David Ouimette, Exec. Director of First Year Programs & Learning Communities at UConn, has been awarded the Outstanding First-Year Student Advocates award. The award, co-sponsored by Cengage Learning and the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition, recognizes 10 individuals across the nation’s higher education system who have demonstrated “exceptional work in the areas of student learning, development and success.”
