Almost every first-year student at UConn takes a First Year Experience course. Why, you ask? UConn students take FYE because it’s fun, meaningful, and helps our emerging scholars make the most of college right from the first day. And nationally, it has been shown that students who take FYE are more likely to be happy and successful right from the beginning of  their college careers. If you weren’t able to find an FYE section that fit your schedule at Orientation don’t worry. Go to fye.uconn.edu to join the wait list and be added to the next available section that works for you.
