Hi everyone! My name is Lakshmi Manne and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a part of the podcast’s production team. I have two favorite podcasts at the moment. One is called Rotten Mango. I am really into mysteries and crime so this podcast talks about some of the most gruesome and fascinating murder mysteries that have ever happened. I find the psychology behind crimes extremely interesting so Rotten Mango is definitely my favorite. Another I really enjoy is The Tollywood Project. This podcast just talks about different issues going on in India, specifically in South India where my family is from. It’s a great podcast that helps me keep up to date with various cultural aspects. I am a huge movie buff so I love listening to their movie reviews the most! My favorite motto that I live by is the serenity prayer. It goes, “grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.” My dad taught me this saying to me when I was a kid. It’s just a nice reminder that you have to accept that there are things out of your control and try to focus on what you can control. In doing this, you can live a happier and more peaceful life.
