First Year International (FYI) Students Embark to Sub-Antarctic Chile Winter 2014-15

Are you interested in studying abroad? Curious what ecological conditions are like in Sub-Antarctic Chile? Follow along with UConn Professors Dr. Bernard Goffinet & Dr. Robert Capers and UConn students as they experience one of the most remote, pristine and biologically rich regions of the world: the southern tip of South America all while staying at a research station within the Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve!

The blog will feature photos, student testimonials,  and focus on of the academic component of the trip (bio-cultural conservation through a multicultural, interdisciplinary experience that will include elements of biology, philosophy, anthropology, conservation ethics, environmental history, etc).
